Sir

I am to signify to you H[is] M[ajesty’s] P[leasure] that you do repair to Portsmouth & Superintend the Embark[atio]n of the Remount horses for the 16th & 17th Reg[imen]ts of light Dragoons.

Enclosed is a list of the Transports with the Number of horses to be put on board each Ship: and It is H[is] M[ajesty's] P[leasure], that no more horses be embarked in any of the Vessels than what are Specified in the Said List.

You will send me an exact Report when this Service is completed [sic].
