Head Quarters Philadelphia Sunday 29th March 1778

Cornet Samuel Watts of the 17th Regiment Light Dragoons having given in his Resignation to the 14th Instant to Retire from the Service for the Value of his Cornetcy the same is excepted, and the Commander in Chief has ordered a Blank Commission to be sent to the agent of the Regiment.
