In Addition to my letter of the 4th of last Month, I have the honor to acquaint you that the 17th Regiment of /light/ Dragoons is considered as part of the Establishment of Ireland.

Sir,

I have the honor to send you enclosed His Majesty's Instructions for the Government of the 17th Regiment of /Light/ Dragoons under your Command, during their Passage to North America, to which you will be pleased to add, from time to time, such further directions as you shall judge necessary on this head.

Sir

I have the honor to signify to you It is His Majesty's Pleasure that you do transmit to me a State of the 17th Regiment of /Light/ Dragoons under your Command, on their being embarked for North America, according to the Form herewith enclosed; and that you do send a like State to the Adjutant General of His Majesty's Forces, directed to him at this Office.
