My Lord
Tents being wanted for the several Regiments
mentioned in the annexed List, serving in North America, for the Campaign
1777. I have the honor to acquaint your
Lordship therewith, and am to desire you will be pleased to receive His
Majesty's Commands thereupon, and to signify the same to the Master General of
the Ordnance, that the number of Tents specified, against each Regiment in the
said List, may be delivered out of His Majesty's Stores for the use of the
respective Corps, and the Expense thereof charged to the Estimate of Ordnance
for Parliament.
