Regulation of Forage to be issued by the Commissary General The Ration for Dragoon Horses for both officers and men is to consist of 14 pounds of Hay and 10 pounds of Oats or Seven pounds of Indian corn.  The Ration for Waggon [sic] Horses is to Consist of 12 pounds of Hay, 8 pounds of oats, or 5 pounds of Indian Corn.
