Military Through the Ages (MTA) March 17-18, 2012

Jamestown Settlement
Route 31 South
Williamsburg, Va

Re-enactment groups depicting centuries of military history join forces with modern-day veterans to demonstrate camp life, tactics and weaponry. Event features a Saturday children’s parade and a Sunday military pass-in-review.

Lord Grey's Retinue will be teaching about and demonstrating:

  • Military camp life
  • Combat from the 15th century
  • Arms and armor
  • Archery
  • Period cooking
  • Retinued service to our lord Baron Henry Grey of Codnor
  • Medieval social classes

Marching Through Time (MTT) April 21-22, 2012

Marietta Mansion

Glenn Dale, Md. 20769

Spend the day at our annual multi-period living history encampment including re-enactors from 1st century Romans through 20th century World War II and more. Demonstrations include camp and domestic life, cooking, crafts, weaponry, and military drills. Also featuring period merchants and food. No pets please. Free parking at Glenn Dale Community Center with continuous shuttle service to event.
