German Army Cavalry in World War Two

This work  has no political intent and does not support the Nazi regime; further, it is not intended to be revisionist or apologist  for the actions of those acting on behalf of the regime. This site has been posted to promote awareness and discussion of German mounted cavalry during the Second World War.  In a seemngly anachronistic action, the German Army increased its reliance on horse power for reasons that weren't entirely tied to economic necessity.
